Two tow truck drivers face charges after allegedly racing to secure a crane and crashing into an active police crash scene in Mississauga, Ont., police said.
The incident occurred when Peel Police officers were responding to a collision at the intersection of Mavis Road and Queensway on December 18 at around 10:40 p.m.
“While officers and other first responders were assisting those involved, two tow trucks, believed to be running towards the crash site to secure the tow, lost control and crashed into an active police scene,” Peel police said in a news release.
One of the tow trucks is believed to have struck the vehicle involved in the initial collision, while the other truck “narrowly eluded” officers and pedestrians, police said.

Based on police information, the two drivers then fled the scene at high speed.
No injuries were reported, police said.
The two men were identified on Tuesday after police said there had been a major investigation, and CCTV footage from the crash area was also discovered showing the two trucks traveling at “high speed in a residential area.” The video, police said, shows the drivers running through stop signs and traffic lights.
Two 30-year-old men from Mississauga were each charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop after an accident and fleeing from a police officer. They were also charged for not stopping at a stop sign and performing acrobatic stunts while driving a motorized vehicle.
Charges related to being a tow truck driver are also imposed for failing to comply with specified requirements and standards and engaging in prohibited practices.
Peel Police are reminding the public to report dangerous or reckless tow truck drivers.
In the event of an emergency, police urge the public to call 911 but in non-emergency situations, incidents can be reported online through Road Watch.
While an arrest has been made, police are asking anyone with further information about this incident to contact investigators at CIB Division 11 at 905-453-2121 extension 1133 or call Crime Stoppers.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
