Tennis spectator style, Lorenze says, evokes Princess Diana, describing it as “classy, feminine, timeless.” She frequently turns to the late Princess for inspiration for her tournament outfits, explaining, “I love that she was not scared to be herself and she was sporty and feminine and confident. She was always a little bit edgier. I think a lot of women look up to her style-wise.”
Lorenze adds, “I’m not always wearing luxury brand to the tournaments. I don’t feel like I need to go buy a $2,000 outfit.” Each tournament has their own vibe, and the U.S. Open is like Diana: “a bit edgier.” She loves Danielle Guizio skirts for New York, describing them as “modern preppy, and a little bit edgy.”
